What is a “Press Release”?
A press release, (also called “PR”, News Release and Press) is a message delivered in form of announcement by a company informing its customers or public about its products or services. Press or Press Release can also be effective when a company is going to launch an offer or whatever which directly related to its customers and general public.

Since they require a reference for the distributed and written press release hence SEO experts and link builders can easily place their website link(s) to get quality back links. Rules to Write Press Release (Press Release Instructions):
Common reason of rejecting or declining a press release is writing a press release as a company representative. A press must be written by a third person (not a company representative otherwise your press release will be rejected).
- A Press Release or Press must starts with a short and subjective “Heading”. Press Heading must be easy to understand and better if contains words that let the reader take interest.
- A press release must starts with date and place of the statement which is one of the most important rules. The date often is date of news announcement or publication in media.
- Always avoid using words like “We”, “Our”, “Us” or any other phrase which can give an assumption that your Press has be written by a company representative.
- The first paragraph of press release should be brief written, not more than 100 words. Keep in mind the sentence must be short, direct and easy to understand. Also cover the whole picture of your Press message in the first paragraph.
- The body is deemed to deliver the explanation of Press. It should contain that information which you ignored at start. Keep a friendly attitude in your writing style. Give proper facts and stats about the press release. If your press release is an offer or promotional message then also guide readers about it.
- At the bottom of your press release make a space to drop a link of your website. You may use “For more information, visit: your link” or something which makes sense for readers. Write about company history, aims or goals that can give readers an idea to engage with your company.
