So first decide what topic does your web page throw. If you are a service provider, you may think a service like "Web Design Service" as a keyword.Step2: Let move ahead, now you have to think what else which will be served as an alternative to your main keyword "Web Design Service" may be "Web Page Designing" or "Service for Web Designing".
Step3: Now you have completed two steps of keyword selection. Start thinking broad now and note down all keywords which you maximum think about your web page. Put all of them into Google AdWords: Keyword Tool. You will get a list of keywords combination which will be a useful match between your keywords and your visitors. Save all of them in an excel file and then start separating those keywords which have considerable monthly searches. Also filter those keywords which may be irrelevant from your web page.
Step4: Now you must have developed a good idea for your keywords. You will be quite familiar which keywords are effective for your web page and which are not.
